This fine and unusual pair of French Art Deco copper alloy up-light lamps combine organic vegetal forms, in the Art Nouveau style, of plants, leaves and petals growing from trunk to blossom, culminating in frosted white glass bowls combined with simplified geometric forms of fasces (bound bundles of sticks). The soft color is a delicate light-pinkish copper rather than deep copper or shiny brass. they are raised on variegated black and white marble plinths typical of the period. These lamps are substantial in size but not overpowering and would be a great addition to any modernist design home or office. Rewired.
