A 16th c. Flemish wool tapestry fragment made into a sofa or chair pillow. This floral fragment probably comes from the surround of the central panel and consists of depictions and daffodils on a trailing vegetative vine. Attractively faded to green, white and yellow. On a gold velvet backing.

CONDITION: Some fine, close conservation stitching within the floral sprays which is hard to detect without close inspection.
