• bottom: St Dominic being presented with a gift from Peter Seila to establish his order in Toulouse
• front: St Thomas Aquinas presenting his Summa Theologica to Pope Clement IV
• left: St Dominic in Naples
• back: St Thomas Aquinas writing his treatise
• right: St Dominic in Naples
Condition: Stabilized cracks (with small losses) to the enamel and figures, and only on top lid. Some staining. Gilt copper is worn. Wear & condition is commensurate with age and use.
