Early to mid-19th century stoppered hand-blown glass decanter – an irregular, pear-shaped decanter with a broad rim, and a pushed-up base with a rough pontil scar. It is beautifully simple, and pure in form. The glass is thin bodied with inclusions and striations. It is in very good antique condition with some degree of cloudiness in the bottom, a few minor scratches, and a very tiny nick in the rim.
Size: 11 ¾” in height x 3 ¾” in base diameter.
