French 1940s soda siphon - an imported Czechoslovakian-made aquamarine blue-glassed bottle, housed within a chrome metal shell. The bottle is marked underneath with the date of manufacture (1948) and country of origin (Tchecoslovaque). The siphon was made in France and is stamp-marked “Auto-Siphon Emile Durcis Paris”. “Limite” is impressed on the chrome shell.
Condition: A very nice, glamour-laden, and presentable display piece, in original and very good vintage condition with a small amount of acceptable wear to the chrome shell and siphon. The siphon is removable, and the bottle has the original early plastic straw.
Size: 13” in height and 4” in base diameter.
