Antique green-glazed earthenware milk pot from Serbia, c.1900. Beautiful, utilitarian receptacle used for making cultured milk products such as drinking yoghurt. This was once a traditional household object found in Serbia and neighboring regions. Yellow-glazed interior. It comes in very good antique condition with normal age-related wear that includes one small chip in the rim and minor wear to the interior glaze.
Size: 6 ½” high. 4” diameter at top rim. Base diameter is 2 ½”.
