English Edwardian-era series of four photographs of a London-based Lipton Tea shop front and interior. Excellent and informative series of a grocer’s shop window and counter displays from the early 1900s. Visible in the photographs are period shop fittings (marble and brass counters, butter slabs, price signs, biscuit bins / tins, etc.), and food displays (canned and dried goods, eggs, meats and cheeses, etc.). Photographed by Wakefields of Ealing London, each photograph is mounted on gray card with a dust cover.
Original photographs in excellent and well-preserved condition. Each card measures 12” x 10”. Each photograph measure 5 ¾” x 8”.
