Early 20th century English painted wooden sign advertising Brooks Mistley Seeds in white lettering on a slate-blue colored ground. Constructed from thick, interlocked wooden slats, the sign presumably advertises plants that were “grown from seeds supplied by Brooks Mistley” - it is possibly a nursery, or market stall sign. Excellent condition with appropriate wear to the paint and visible shrinkage between individual slats. Structurally sound. No restoration.
Size: 21 ½” x 29 ¾”.
