English, early 20th century sand fire bucket. Galvanized zinc metal with original red painted exterior and remains of a white painted interior. The brass plaque label on the front is impressed with the original owners of the bucket – Humber St. Andrew’s Engineering of Hull. Traces of the word “Sand” is present on the reverse side of the bucket. Visually pleasing for its faded, mellow and weathered original paint. Excellent, well-preserved, strong, sturdy pail. Original antique condition. No repairs.
9” depth. 12” diameter at the top. 7 ¾” diameter at the base.
