Antique British, possibly Welsh, green-glazed earthenware porringer or casserole, with a brown salt-glazed interior, c.18th century. A two-handled bowl, with a beautiful, richly-colored and worn exterior glaze. Thick-bodied and heavy vessel. Condition is excellent. No cracks or significant chips – just glaze wear, as shown. No restoration. Size: 3 ¼” high. Top diameter is 8 ¼”, base diameter is 4 ¼”. Width between handles is 9 ¼”.
