19th century monogrammed porcelain soup plate, c.1875. Generously portioned soup bowl with scalloped rim and oversized blue transfer-printed NH monogram. Impressed British registered diamond mark along with other impressed and printed marks appear on the back. The registered mark, though not clear, loos to date to the 26th May 1875. The other impressed mark is not decipherable, as shown. An elegant plate that comes in very good and clean condition. Minor wear. No restoration.
