French 19th century Carbonas Magnesicus apothecary hand-blown glass jar with tole-painted lid. The black and gilded paper label is affixed to the inside of the jar as was customary on jars used to store medicinal dry goods. It comes in beautifully preserved and highly decorative condition. There are no chips in the glass, or restoration to the toleware. Minor wear to the label and tole lid, as shown.
