Antique English pharmacy measuring glasses, c.1890 -1900. The lipped conical beakers are free blown-glass, both with a polished pontil scar on the base, and clear wheel-engraved markings in fluid ounces and drachms. The smaller one carries an etched Victorian “VR” standard mark and measures a maximum of 32 drachms. The larger holds 80 drachms.
Condition is very good and clean with acceptable minor wear. Fine scratches in the glass of and a minor etched ring (1/8”) on the inside base of the smaller measure. There are no chips.
Height: 5 ¼” and 7”.
