Antique Ottoman era, hand-forged and tinned copper footed bowl, circa late 19th - early 20th century. An aesthetically pleasing food vessel, forged from thick and heavy copper sheet with simple, elegant form, and naturally aged patina. It has a broad, everted rim that functions as a grip, and it is adorned with very basic, tooled banding. It is the oxidized tin surface that makes food vessels such as this one, visually pleasing and particularly beautiful when displayed on aged wooden surfaces.
