German amber glass apothecary jars from the early 1900s, with decorative, raised white enameled labels with black lettering for: Natr. Bicarbon (Sodium Bicarbonate) and Amylum (Starch). The outer border of the labels is nicely gilded, with an inner border of lighter blue edging. Both jars were for powdered contents, and have wide necks. Both jars are tall and nicely proportioned, and each with a flat, octagonal-shaped stopper. It comes in clean and excellent condition with minor wear.
