Vintage 1940s large English BR(M) First Aid box replete with original contents. This is a heavy British Rail Midlands First Aid box, filled with an assortment of unopened supplies, and includes an unused log book and metal capped wooden splints stamped BR(M). The box is divided into three covered compartments, and has an attached capped canister on the side that is empty (as shown), but may have once housed a vial. There is a normal degree of wear to the painted surfaces, and it retains a portion of its Ambulance Equipment label referencing honour codes. It is an interesting, heavy-duty, example that comes in very good, original vintage condition, and makes an excellent prop!
