Antique 19th century Italian glazed terracotta serving dish. Fabulous large buttermilk-yellow glazed platter from Puglia, with wonderful rustic form, and simple blue-sponged decoration, inside a maroon colored border. Charming for its irregularities in its form and decoration and an excellent centerpiece for the table. It has a chip on the rim and minor glaze loss. No restoration. Condition is clean, excellent and usable.
