19th century large English slipware baking dish of press-molded form and with an abundance of trailed cream slip decoration that is fairly fluid and improvised in its style and execution. This fine example of traditional earthenware country pottery lends itself as easily to a clean contemporary interior, as it does to a country style interior. It comes in excellent general condition with a small amount of glaze loss to the cream slip decoration. The crack in the rim is a production flaw and not usage-related damage. There is no restoration.
