19th century English slipware baking dish. A large glazed earthenware dish of press-molded form and octagonal rim, with cream slip decoration that features a hollyhocks and a trailed squiggled border. This fine example of traditional earthenware country pottery lends itself as easily to a clean contemporary interior, as it does to a country style interior. It comes in excellent general condition with some glaze loss to the cream slip decoration. There are no chips, cracks or restoration.
