19th century French glazed earthenware water jug. A rustic, two-handled kitchen pitcher, with a pouring spout in the center, and a richly colored, dark brown glaze. The subtle variations and imperfections in the glaze adds charm to its rustic appearance. It comes in very good antique condition, with one chip on the back of the top rim, and minor glaze wear around the handles and spout. The interior glaze is well-preserved and in very good antique condition.
