English flower buckets, c.1900. A pair of florist’s market stall buckets used for cut flowers. These are like the Hassocks buckets but without the brass label and are also constructed from galvanized zinc with a reinforced hooped base. Each has an appealing weather-beaten patina and comes in good condition with normal wear that includes minor dents to the body and rims of each. Watertight. No repairs.
Size: 9” H. The top diameter is 10 ½”. The base diameter is 8”.
