Late 18th – early 19th century, European pewter, pepper or sugar casters. The urn-shaped pot with beaded decoration and with vertical slits, is marked underneath with an angel touchmark, surmounted with a crown and the maker’s initials, “P” and “I” on either side of the crown. There are no touchmarks on the baluster-shaped pot which is a heavier pewter and a little lopsided, as shown.
Condition: Good, original antique condition with nicely developed patinas. Dents are present on both. No repairs.
