French 1830 Champfremont parish register, a document handwritten in fountain pen on handmade paper, that records the town’s baptisms and marriages for that year. An interesting document, at times recorded in untidy handwriting. It comprises 7 sheets folded in half and bound together with sewn thread, to produce a 12-page document, plus a front and back cover. Ten pages are written, and the last two are left blank. Included with the document is a letter/receipt dated 1896 from the Saint-Vincent De Paul Society, with reference to an 1830 baptism.
Condition: Pages are intact and there are no tears. Soiled front and back covers. Fold lines, creased corners and tattered edges, as shown.
Page size is 15 ¼” x 10”.
