English, late 19th century, chemist’s 24-pill roller / machine of mahogany and brass, and with a marble slab. Probably made by Maw Son & Thompson of London, with a partially impressed, and not very legible mark found next to the grain units.
Condition: Very good antique condition with normal wear especially to the marble slab, and a brass screw missing from the roller, as shown.
Base is 12 ¾” x 5 ¼”. Roller is 16 ½” in length.
