Victorian English industrial felt maker’s form, mid-late 19th century. A large and visually interesting industrial artifact salvaged from an old mill. Conical in form and constructed with teak staves over a pine frame with mahogany caps. Numbered “2” and marked with dimensions impressed on the caps. It is hollow on the inside.
Please note: The larger form, numbered “5” is not included.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. There is a rattling noise coming from inside when shaken, and is due to the presence of minor debris. The piece is however, structurally very sturdy.
Size: 29” in length. The circumference is 45”.
