SMALL child-sized, galvanized metal bucket. English, c.1900-10. A truly utilitarian requisite, SMALL pails such as this one, functioned as a child’s seaside pail, to a farm, or workman’s bucket. This one was used as the latter, as evidenced by the beautifully textured patina. It has been sympathetically cleaned, leaving intact much of its character and patina. Constructed from heavy-duty galvanized steel, with a strong bail handle and riveted ears. Structurally sound. No repairs.
Please Note: Spools are not included.
Size: Depth is 6 ¼”. Diameter at the top is 7 ¼”. Base diameter is 5”.
