Large industrial bentwood flour sieve with a finely perforated sheet metal mesh, English late 19th century. Manufactured by Bryan Concoran Ltd of Mark Lane, London - furnishers of general mill equipment. Their name is stenciled onto the sieve, as shown. This bygone piece can be displayed as wall art, placed on the table as a statement piece, utilized as a tray, or repurposed for storage. It is an excellent addition to a modern country or farmhouse interior, and it comes in excellent antique condition with a pleasing patina on the wood. There is very minor wear to the mesh. Structurally sound. No repairs.
