19th century Czech botany school teaching chart of a potato plant. Printed on card paper, c.1895. On the back are various stamps, and handwritten entries pertaining to the school it originated from, and 1895 -the year it was put into use by the school. The chart has aged with notable foxing and yellowing of the paper, along with a tear near the top, but the subdued and mellowed colors give it a certain venerable look. It continues to possess decorative appeal despite its aged condition, and can be hung as intended, or framed.
Condition: Fair to good antique condition, as shown. The tear on the top can be stabilized from behind.
Size: 34” x 23”.
