Vintage French tins, c.1920s. These pastel-colored, floral print-decorated tins were sold filled with Menier chocolates. The idea being, that once the chocolates were consumed, the tins could be repurposed as kitchen storage canisters. Printed on the front were labels for various contents, and several tins, each with a label for a different ingredient could be collected. Sold as a group of three tins.
Condition: Good, well-preserved condition with normal and acceptable wear that includes minor dents, scuffs, fading and yellowing.
Sizes: 5” x 3 ½” x 5 ½” height. Unlabeled tin measures 7” x 5” x 3” height.
