Victorian terracotta façade brick manufactured by J.C Edwards clayworks at Ruabon North Wales, c.1890 -1900. J.C Edwards was one of the most successful manufacturers of architectural terracotta, and this example nicely exemplifies the Victorians' taste for ornate facades and red brick architecture. This is a great, showy display piece that is impressive enough to be displayed as a stand-alone object.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with a small amount of wear. The piece is HEAVY.
Size: 13 ½" x 13 ½" x 2 ½".
