19th century English food chopper. Impressively large with turned elm wood handles and a flaring, straight-edged steel blade, its design was intended to serve a specific cutting function. It is an example of beautifully crafted domestic object.
Condition: Very good antique condition. The edge of the blade is pitted but overall, it is a well-preserved object that displays well.
Size: Handle width is 14". Blade width is 8 ¾" at base. Height is 9 ½".
