SMALL, Victorian-era English scales plate; circa, late 19th century with a standard pictorial logo of "Justice" transfer-printed under the glaze in black. This one is a nice small size (6" diameter), and collection of them in varied sizes, looks impressive when displayed hung on a wall with the aid of plate hooks.
Condition: Very good and overall clean antique condition. The discoloration near the bottom is likely to be where the plate had come into contact with black dye during the printing process. Underneath the plate, the glaze is scratched and rubbed. No restoration.
