This is a beautiful example of an antique Kaiser baby from the early 1900's. This doll was made in Germany by Kammer Reinhardt. They assigned mold number 100 to the Kaiser baby but this head does not have the number. It just has the company logo and the head size number. It is on a body with a unique construction. It may be that made this head was made as a special order for another maker who added their own body to it and sold it under their own name. In any case the head is fully marked with the Kammer Reinhardt logo and is their mold 100 Kaiser baby. He has painted gray eyes. He is wearing a new knit bonnet, sweater and booties. The dress and diaper are antique but the slip looks to be a little newer.

Measurements

The doll is 10 1/5 inches tall sitting and 15 inches long laid out flat on his back.

Marks

The head is marked as follows: K (star) R 26 the 26 is the size number for the head.

Layaway is possible on this item. Please contact me for details.
