Description of Doll for Sale
This is a beautiful Madame Alexander Cissette doll from the early 1950's This doll appears to be doll number 942 from 1957. This doll was not shown in the Madame Alexander catalogue but it is shown on Page 151 of the book "Cissette a complete guide to the vintage Alexander dolls " by Marjorie E. Merod. She is 9" tall, made of hard plastic, jointed at her neck, shoulders, hips and knees. She has a triple stitch Tosca wig in the original set. She is wearing an original tagged dress that has never been washed. Under the dress she is wearing a tagged lace chemise or teddy that has never been washed. She has her stockings but is missing her hat and shoes.

Condition of Doll for Sale
The plastic head and body is perfect with no chips, cracks, rubs or repaint. The vintage clothes are in good shape with no foxing, stains, rips or repairs.
