Description of Doll for Sale
I have a stunning example of a 1950's 15 inch Madame Alexander Margot Ballerina. This Ballerina has the Madame Alexander Margaret face and is on a hard plastic walker body. The Margaret face was used on the early hard plastic ballerina and queen dolls. This Margot Ballerina is all original with her jeweled satin tutu. Her hair is set with the original factory flowers and she has her original nylons and satin slippers. This Margot Ballerina also has an award tag that she won at a UFDC contest. Margot is in original condition with the tutu never washed. The metal mounts for the jewels on her bodice have darkened some but there is no rust or staining of the fabric. The walker body works smoothly.
Dress mark: Madame Alexander, All Rights Reserved, New York U.S.A.
Condition of Doll for Sale
The hard plastic head and body is perfect with no chips, cracks, rubs or repaint. The eye lashes are full and intact with no missing lashes. The satin tutu has no stains, rips or repairs. The tool skirt is intact with no serious or noticeable rips or repairs. The original stockings have no runs or repairs. The elastic top is relaxed a little but can keep the stockings up without assistance.
The doll may have wear and flaws seen in used dolls. I try to describe significant flaws in my text and show them in picture. Read the text and examine the pictures to be sure you understand the dolls condition. If you have questions please email me.
