This is a fantastic example of an antique Simon Halbig 1160 doll house doll head. This size was used to make doll house dolls and is often referred to as the little woman series. It was made in Germany from 1900 to the early teens. This small head has amazing detail with set glass eyes and an elaborate wig. The detail is all the more amazing when you realize the head is just 1 1/2 inches tall. Unless you have a small cell phone the pictures showing the doll are probably life size of larger than life size.
The head has the typical Simon & Halbig marks as shown:
Head Mark: S & H, 1160
