Circa 1920 earrings featuring a translucent slice of green chalcedony simply set in a rectangular silver-tone rope frame. The stone is held firmly in place with double decorative prongs at top, bottom and both sides. The translucency of the chalcedony gives it a soft glow. The frame and screw-back finding are not marked sterling, so is probably chromium or another type of silver metal used during the art deco era. These earrings measure 3/4" x 1/2" and are in excellent condition.
