Adorable pair of circa 1930s earrings done in Guilloche enameling. Gilloche enameling is created by engine turning and involves mechanically cutting lines into the metal to create a design. The enameling is transparent and the underlying pattern creates a brilliance when the earrings are moved from side-to-side. These earrings are marked sterling on the back of the disc as well as on the screw back findings. The color of each earring is gold in tone, but they are sightly different - not terribly noticeable when worn. They are in excellent condition and measure 1/2" in diameter.
