These locks were meant to close a gate bracelet or to be used as charms. This one is English made, created from sterling silver and opens by pressing the lever on the top of the heart. Marked with a lion passant, the British mark for Sterling. An uncrowned lion head next to the lion passant signifies the piece was made in London. The maker's mark, ASJ, dates this from 1977-1882. The small script c further confirms this piece was made in 1977. A few dents and dings but quite nice. Measures 1/2" by 3/4"
