Folk art is a uniquely personal manifestation of emotion expressed in a hand-made crafted and this one-of-a-kind walking stick is a beautiful example. Carved from a single piece of golden-yellow wood, this substantial and sturdy walking stick features a barley twist shaft with a First Nations carving under the keyhole opening at the top. The walking stick has a wonderfully dimensional texture and a rich, dark finish. This darker color was likely acquired by lightly burning the surface of the wood. (Only walking stick)
The cane has a nice, smooth finish and slightly rounded top making it very comfortable to hold and walk with. Its height and weight make it ideal for daily use, but it is sure to make an excellent display piece as well. Measurements: 38" tall, 3" top diameter, 1 1/2" base diameter. Despite some minor wear and signs of age, this cane remains in excellent vintage condition.
