The description on the backs is in five languages. 1) 'Mr. and Mrs. Newlywed's new French Cook', 2) 'Why you little beauty! How long have you been our cook?' 5) 'Footsteps - "My wife! Mum's the Word!', 7) "Good Heavens!". The cards are in good shape with some age browning and soil.
