This is a delightful 1947 First Edition 'History of Burnaby and Vicinity' signed by the author George Green who was a Councillor in 1916, recipient of the Gold Key Award (1955) and died June 2, 1955. The 9 " X 6" hard covered book is accompanied by a card with endorsements from the Vancouver City Archivist and others. It was published by Shoemaker, McLean, and Veitch. It is firmly bound with black and white historical illustrations on 237 fine pages with minor foxing. It is in very good condition.
