An hand made terracotta pot originally submerged under sea and used as a trap for an individual octopus. This pot has a unique pattern of organic encrustation from its time underwater that has created a fascinating natural artifact. Displayed either singly or as a group these pots add a distinctive note to an interior. We have 28 available and they are offered individually.
Circa: 19th Century.
Condition: Good condition, great patina. Age weathered surfaces. Condition is appropriate for age and use. See photos for complete assessment.
Note: The hole on the base of the pot allows it to sink to the bottom and allows water to escape when it is eventually pulled back out.
