Lovely White and Cream Oyster Plate. 19th Century.
Six White Oyster Shells adorn this Cream Oyster Plate. The center well, used for Lemon and Sauce, is adorned with a beautiful Deep Magenta Flower. Measures 8 3/4" Diameter.
The plate is unmarked. The back is stamped into the porcelain with the Mold number 765 and a hand painted number 66. I believe this is Limoge and from research, dates to the late 1800, early 1900.
The condition is very nice. There are no chips or cracks. I really like the neutral clean lines of this plate. Nice addition for the collector.
