c1905 religious EASTER Polish language greeting antique postcard with the Risen Christ Jesus standing between two kneeling winged angel children - a heavily embossed fine color chromolithograph, with a matte finish. Captioned with the Polish Easter greeting "Weslego Alleluja".
Marked in the lower-left front corner with one of the logos used by German publisher E.A. Schwerdtfeger & Co., of Berlin (1894-) - a "fat" heart-shaped figure with the initials "EAS" inside. The back is unmarked, except by the divider and address lines, and is completely covered with handwriting in brown ink that appears to be Polish.
PHOTO NOTE: The photos distort the clarity of the images and sometimes the intensity of the colors. The muted "grainy" look is a distortion. The surface is actually glossy, and the colors are more vivid and the clarity greater when viewed in person. Minute defects are exaggerated by the scanning process, and many are barely noticeable when viewed in person.
CONDITION: PLEASE EXAMINE PHOTOS CAREFULLY. Standard-sized postcard in very good to excellent condition for its age. Very slight crease in the upper right corner. Very few spots of wear along the edges. Corners are only slightly blunted. NO folds or tears. ALL FLAWS ARE OBVIOUS IN THE PHOTOS.
