An interesting silver metal scent bottle chatelaine with attached chain and clip. The reticulated bottle is double-sided with 2 fish on each side. The belt clip has two bats on its front side and Asian character signatures on the reverse. The mounted side pieces of the bottle have what appears to be scorpions or crabs and other relief decoration. I am not sure of the silver content/purity. I do not believe it is sterling but there is definitely some silver content. Probably of Chinese or Persian origin and circa 1900. The bottle is 2 7/8 inches long (7.3 cm) and the total length from bottle to the top of the clip is 6 inches (15 cm).
