A sterling silver snuff box or pill box with Birmingham hallmarks for 1903-4. It has a repousse floral design with a ruffled rim and base. The maker's mark is "RP" and the hallmarks are both on the interior bottom and inside rim of the top. The hinged lid is in excellent working condition and the box closes securely and evenly. Other than minor scratching on the bottom, it is in very good condition. It measures 1 7/8 in (4.8 cm) x 1 3/8 in (3.5 cm) x 7/8 in (2.2 cm).
