A Lozi, West Zambia terracotta water pitcher, depicting a parrot. It measures 9 3/4" H x 8 1/2" W. It is in overall good condition with age appropriate wear from handling. It appears that there might be a repair to the top of parrot's beak. This vessel was originally purchased from "The Collector", Capetown, S.A. in March of 2002. It is from the collection of African and Asian ethnographic artifacts and I will include his original provenance
