DESCRIPTION: Charmed, I’m sure! On fine bone china, this classic Shelley pattern named “Charm” is everything you’d expect it to be. The design details feature mauve with pink and gray flowers against a brilliant porcelain glaze over white china. The cup’s edge features gray garland border, both on outside and interior with single red flower. The result is very moderne with a timeless design.
The footed and slightly waisted cup is scalloped and defined with gilding on the rim, foot and handle. A matching scalloped-edge saucer with gold border completes this lovely “Charm” vintage set of two.
WHY I LIKE IT: Tea for Two? The design boasts simplicity with a touch of elegance and perfect for afternoon tea. The glaze is of a beautiful sheen, a trademark of Shelley fine bone china. This set will mix well with your contemporary white or solid color dinnerware.
