DESCRIPTION: From Nagoya, Japan, a pair of Noritake Ivory vases that are rarely found together.
Of the “Noritake Ivory” product line, the vases are shaped in streamlined simplicity with a beautiful glaze that enhances the embossed design. On the vases, we find circles of various sizes that surround a modern floral pattern, each separated by an intricate but delicate swirled pattern.
Each vase is brilliantly accented with gilding, both on the rim and base. Overall, the pair of vases display a festive (if not whimsical) vintage look.
WHY I LIKE IT: The shape of the vases are Asian-inspired with a 1970’s vibe. The height and width are beautifully proportioned to anchor a dining table without interfering with conversation, or to be placed on a fireplace mantel with or without seasonal florals.
